Rodolfo Kusulas is the artist behind RK Calligraphy. His relationship with calligraphy began around 2014 and continues to shape a practice across lettering, engraving, illustration, and personalization.
The practice
What began as a relationship with letterforms grew into a broader exploration of making and sharing the craft. Rodolfo later co-founded KOUS with his sister, Aspacia Kusulas, an important collaborator in that history.
Through KOUS, he helped develop and facilitate workshops and educational experiences, as well as contemporary calligraphy tools and products. Teaching and making deepened his interest in calligraphy as a living creative practice.
Today, RK Calligraphy brings that experience to live calligraphy, engraving, illustration, hot foil, and studio personalization. Working with brand teams, event producers, and private clients, Rodolfo creates pieces that connect the occasion, the object, and the person receiving it.

Material awareness
The line changes with glass, paper, leather, and metal. The technique should respect what the object already is.

Live work is both craft and encounter. The pace, gesture, and conversation matter as much as the finished mark.
